4 Thing Thursday

Today I’m going to share 4 things that I’m going to do today and that I think you should do today too.
1. Do Something For Yourself.
This for me is the most important and the one my Mum came up with. Today do something that you like. Do something that is going to make you happy and potentially others! Treat yourself to something nice. Take a small break, watch your favourite film etc. Just have a little YOU time because, you deserve it!
2. Do Something That Has Once Scared You.
We’re all about conquering your fears and achieving new things so why not start today?
One thing that I have always been afraid of is performing in front of others which is kind of funny because I want to be a singer, do tours and perform. I decided to start small and sang in front of my Grandma. Then I sang in front of some of my family members, then I got invited to sing at a Church service and now I’m planning a gig of my own!
It doesn’t matter if you break your goal down into small steps just as long as you are taking steps towards overcoming your fears and/or anxiety then you’re on to a winner!
3. Write Down Your Goals For February.
Let’s get a head start by planning all the things that we want to do, achieve and accomplish in February before it starts. It will save you starting a new month with no idea what you want to do to move forward in the area(s) you want.
For me, I tend to plan all the projects I want to do, blog posts I want to write, videos I want to film, people I want to contact, events I want to attend and areas I want to develop in. It feels great to move onto a new month and know that I have positive and important things that I can do each day rather than waking up each morning and wondering what on earth I am going to do that day.
4. Exercise For 20 Minutes or Go To Bed Early.
I thought I would be nice and give us a choice. You can either do some exercise today or aim to go to bed a little earlier than usual. Both are equally as important in my eyes and both will make a positive difference to your day and mood.
